Steam Chemical Indicator Class 6 (3,5 Min.)

Sterifirst Steam Chemical Indicators are designed to evaluate the parameters of the steam sterilization process and read the results instantly. A chemical indicator should be used in each sterilization package to control whether the steam penetrates the packaged material and reaches the surgical instruments inside.

These are indicators that operate in the parameters of 134˚C – 3,5 minutes and 121°C – 15 minutes.

The contents of each package must be exposed to several critical parameters of the sterilization process. These critical parameters for steam are; saturated vapor, time and temperature.

They can be used in all steam sterilizers.

When the specified parameters are met, the indicator changes to the reference color and the indicator retains the result color for at least 6 months.

It is produced in accordance with ISO 11140-1 Class / Type 6 standard.

Indicator inks are water-based and contain no toxic chemicals or lead.
